MET volunteers  carried out a post treatment rat monitor on the main Cell Tower block and in Pickford's and was pleased with
the zero rat and 2% mouse indices. Interesting that the mouse index collapsed from 58% in the pre poisoning monitor and this is either due to our poisoning
or perhaps a natural consequence of colder weather.

Regardless, we are now well positioned for the winter season with the rodents at low numbers and will monitor again in early September. 

Thanks to our awesome volunteers, predator trapping will continue on a monthly basis throughout the control area.
